I just bought this Louis XVI Chair by Raine and Willitts from their Take a Seat Collection. It is retired, but I have wanted it for awhile.

I know I paid a bit too much, for it, but…

Just in case you are interested…The chair design is circa 1770 French Antique Tapestry. In the 18th century excavations in Pompeii sparked new interest in all things classical. French King Louis XVI soon began to use the fluted column as a furniture motif, as seen in the legs of this elegant little chair.
